So we went to Petrified Forest National Park today Aug 8h 2026 and it was hot and humid note to self go in the winter to enjoy the trails. Petrified Forest is about hour North from Show-Low so it makes a great day trip if your staying in Show-Low at Fools Hollow Lake. So This National Park has petrified wood that turned into stone basically.
